I stopped reading for fun because of medicine career. reading, automatically have the reaction of a chore in my unconscious mind.

Finished this feeling and immediately picked up a book, after months of no reading. I missed it! Reading Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld and it is FUN! (and good). I miss reading! Will try your suggestions, great video!

A reason I don’t read is because I much prefer my books to be physical. I can’t drive at the moment so I can’t go to the library which isn’t super close. I have an ereader but sadly this makes the problem I have worse imo.

Free reading or forced reading bores me, and I say this as a recovered formerbook addict who now prefers and loves to be doing activities and being with people more. It relaxes me. To each their own

You know, when you said that the only time you can read is when you need to eat, I really felt that. So I thought maybe it's a good idea to make it a rule. If I don't read, I don't get to eat.
